So on the 7th November the first 'democratic' election in twenty years in Burma came to a close, but we are still possibly weeks away from finding out the result. This article shows the first trickles of news we have about the results, and although they are leaning heavily towards the Junta backed parties, the Union and Solidarity Development Party (USDP) and the National Unity Party (NUP) are not completely dominatin the election.
